XHTML

The Extensible Hypertext Markup Language, or XHTML, is a markup language that has the same depth of expression as HTML, but also conforms to XML syntax.

HTML

HyperText Markup Language, is the predominant markup language for Web pages. It provides a means to describe the structure of text-based information in a document, by denoting certain text as links, headings, paragraphs, lists, and so on, and to supplement that text with interactive forms, embedded images, and other objects. HTML is written in the form of tags, surrounded by angle brackets

CSS

Cascading Style Sheets is a stylesheet language used to describe the presentation of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML, but the language can be applied to any kind of XML document, including SVG and XUL.

MYSQL

MySQL is a relational database management system (RDBMS) which has more than 11 million installations.The program runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases.

XML

The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a general-purpose specification for creating custom markup languages. It is classified as an extensible language, because it allows the user to define the mark-up elements.

W3C

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is the main international standards organization for the World Wide Web (abbreviated WWW or W3). It is arranged as a consortium where member organizations maintain full-time staff for the purpose of working together in the development of standards for the World Wide Web.

SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results.

CMS

A content management system (CMS) is a computer application used to create, edit, manage, and publish content in a consistently organized fashion so that it can be modified/delete/add.

JS

JavaScript is a scripting language widely used for client-side web development. It was the originating dialect of the ECMAScript standard. It is a dynamic, weakly typed, prototype-based language with first-class functions.

AJAX

Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, is a group of interrelated web development techniques used for creating interactive web applications or rich Internet applications. With Ajax, web applications can retrieve data from the server asynchronously in the background without interfering with the display and behavior of the existing page.

PHP

Hypertext Preprocessor, is a scripting language originally designed for producing dynamic web pages. It has evolved to include a command line interface capability and can be used in standalone graphical applications.

SQL

Structured Query Language, is a database computer language designed for the retrieval and management of data in relational database management systems (RDBMS), database schema creation and modification, and database object access control management.

UI

The user interface (also known as Human Computer Interface or Man-Machine Interface (MMI)) is the aggregate of means by which people interact with the system

WAI

Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) is an effort to improve the accessibility of the World Wide Web (WWW or Web) for people with disabilities. People with disabilities may encounter difficulties when using computers generally, but also on the Web.

PDF

Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format created by Adobe Systems in 1993 for document exchange. PDF is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a manner independent of the application software, hardware, and operating system.

PSD

Photoshop document, the default file extension of the proprietary file format of Adobe System‘s Photoshop program.

SGML

The Standard Generalized Markup Language (ISO 8879:1986 SGML) is an ISO Standard metalanguage in which one can define markup languages for documents. SGML is a descendant of IBM‘s Generalized Markup Language (GML), developed in the 1960s.

FRAMEWORK
Un framework, en el desarrollo de software es una estructura de soporte definida en la cual otro proyecto de software puede ser organizado y desarrollado. Típicamente, puede incluir soporte de programas, bibliotecas y un lenguaje interpretado entre otros software para ayudar a desarrollar y unir los diferentes componentes de un proyecto.
FLASH
Adobe Flash es una aplicación en forma de estudio de animación que trabaja sobre "Fotogramas" destinado a la producción y entrega de contenido interactivo para diferentes audiencias alrededor del mundo sin importar la plataforma.
ACCESIBILIDAD
La accesibilidad web se refiere a la capacidad de acceso a la Web y a sus contenidos por todas las personas independientemente de la discapacidad (física, intelectual o técnica) que presenten o de las que se deriven del contexto de uso (tecnológicas o ambientales). Esta cualidad está íntimamente relacionada con la usabilidad.
